Kenosha Toastmasters Presents:
Leadership – It’s a Verb! – Action Steps for a Leader
Learn how to use your head, hands, heart and habits as a leader!
As a Region Advisor – Cindy works with District Leaders on the West Coast as a mentor, trainer and coach. A topic often discussed is – what does leadership mean in Toastmasters? How do you make the phrase “Where Leaders Are Made” come to life? In this engaging and interactive session – we’ll discuss the importance of leadership – both in life and Toastmasters.
Join us November 3rd at 12:00 PM for this special event. You can join us on your phone, tablet, or computer by clicking this link:
“What’s ‘Toastmasters’, and why would I want to be a part of it?”
We get asked this all the time.
The short answer is that we’re a group of people who meet a couple times a month to practice speaking, leadership, and other professional skills – and we have fun in the process.
And we mean it when we say “fun”!
We’re a group of regular people, just like you, learning as we go. Some of us have been doing this for years, some of us have only been at it for a month or two, but we all share a common commitment – to serve one another by helping each other become better speakers & leaders.
We’d love to be of service to you as well!
Guests are always welcome – why not attend a meeting and see just how fun and rewarding professional development can be?
We’re On Zoom!
While meeting on Zoom is a little different from gathering in person, the great thing about Zoom is that it helps us practice communication in a new way, and develop the online communication skills that are turning out to be incredibly necessary for business and life.
We’ll get back to in-person meetings at some point in the future, but for now….how about joining us for a “virtual” lunch meeting? You’ll learn things, you’ll have fun, and you’ll return to your day with a little bit of energy and encouragement – which is something we could all use right now.
And hey – if you want to practice your multitasking by bringing some lunch and eating while you listen, that’s awesome. We promise not to tell anybody. 🙂
We’re still meeting the 1st and 3rd Tuesday each month, at our regular meeting time (12:00 to 1:00 PM). You can join us on your phone, tablet, or computer by clicking this link:
This link should be the same for all of our online meetings going forward, so please either save the link or bookmark this site.
Stay safe out there, and we’re looking forward to seeing you soon!
